Lyles, Richardson back up world titles in Zurich...

American sprinters Noah Lyles and Sha'Carri Richardson backed up their world titles with impressive performances at the Diamond League meeting in Zurich.

Lyles, who won the men's 200m at the World Championships in Doha last year, clocked a time of 19.74 seconds to win the event in Zurich.

Lyles' victory further solidified his status as one of the top sprinters in the world, as he continues to dominate the 200m distance.

Richardson, who claimed the women's 100m title at the World Championships in 2019, cruised to victory in Zurich with a time of 10.80 seconds.

Lyles and Richardson have high hopes for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics, where they will look to secure further international success and potentially add Olympic gold medals to their already impressive resumes.

Richardson has been in great form this season, consistently delivering impressive performances.
