Danny Masterson sentenced to 30 years to life for two rapes

Actor Danny Masterson, known for That '70s Show, has been given a 30-year to life prison sentence for raping two women.

Prosecutors argued that Masterson, who is also a prominent Scientologist, used his status to avoid punishment.

Victims of the crimes were allowed to speak in court before the sentencing, and actress Leah Remini supported them.

One victim regretted not reporting him earlier, while another forgave Masterson, saying his sickness was no longer her burden.

Masterson's wife, Bijou Phillips, cried in court as the judge delivered the maximum sentence.
