Harry Kane, the England captain, announced his departure from Tottenham Hotspur after 19 years at the club to join German side Bayern Munich.
In a heartfelt video shared on social media platforms, Kane expressed his gratitude to his teammates, coaches, managers, and most importantly, the Tottenham fans.
He explained that he felt it was the right time to leave and didn't want any unresolved future talk to affect the upcoming season.
Shortly after the video's release, Tottenham confirmed the agreement with Bayern for Kane's transfer.
With 280 goals in 435 appearances, Kane became Tottenham's all-time leading goalscorer, surpassing Jimmy Greaves' record of 266.
