In the NBA, small/power forward was a position played by the former professional American basketball player Dennis Keith Rodman. He was born in Trenton, New Jersey, on May 13, 1961. Dennis was renowned for his excellent defensive and rebounding skills. Starting with the Detroit Pistons, Rodman played for the San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, and Dallas Mavericks in the National Basketball Association. The five-time NBA champion also played for a few teams in the British League, Mexican League, and American Basketball Association, all of which were just getting started.
After completing his basketball career in high school and college, Dennis Rodman joined the NBA in 1986. From 1997 until 2008, he also worked in film and pursued his interest of professional wrestling. In 2008, Dennis triumphed in the Celebrity Championship Wrestling competition.
Dennis received numerous honors and distinctions throughout his career, including selection to the NBA All-Defensive First Team, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, the NBA All-Star and Third Team thrice, as well as the NBA 75th Anniversary Team.

The Detroit Pistons selected Dennis Rodman with the third choice in the second round of the 1986 NBA draft, and he eventually joined the league. The Pistons entered the 1987 playoffs with ease thanks to their 52 victories in the 1986–1987 season.
In the 1987–88 season, Rodman improved his play and stats, averaging 11.6 points and 8.7 rebounds. The Detroit Pistons made it to the 1988 NBA Finals, but they were defeated in the decisive round. However, the Pistons returned to the 1988–89 Finals and this time, they were able to defeat the Lakers. Dennis Rodman won his first NBA title with this victory.

Dennis Rodman went to South Oak Cliff High School, a Dallas public high school. He met the future basketball coach Gary Blair in the gym while still in school. Dennis’ sisters won three state basketball championships under Blair’s guidance. Later, Rodman continued on and enrolled in North Central Texas College, a public community college in Gainesville. He only remained there for a brief period of time before transferring to Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He spent three seasons there (1983–1986), averaging 25.7 points and 15.7 rebounds each game…
